2008 Walk for Farm Animal Results

The results of the 2008 Walk for Farm Animals are in and we are excited to announce that this has been yet another record-breaking year! Thousands of people took part in Walks held in 58 cities across the U.S. and Canada – 12 more Walks than last year – raising a total of $231,458* for farm animals! We are extremely grateful to everyone who participated: the walkers, who took to the streets to educate their communities; the donors, who generously supported this important cause; the businesses that kindly donated their products and services; and, of course, our tireless Walk coordinators, who made these events possible. All of these efforts have brought much needed attention to the plight of farm animals and raised critical funds for Farm Sanctuary’s rescue, education and advocacy work.
